How 2020 Changes Everything About Politics and Governing

Moderator: John Nichols
Panelists: Francesca Hong & Gwen Moore

Gwen Moore is a senior member of Congress, who has served in the Wisconsin state Assembly and Senate. Francesca Hong is a political newcomer who won a multi-candidate Democratic primary in an Assembly that is all but certain to send her to the legislature this fall. These two dynamic leaders are at different points in their careers, yet they share a faith that the issues raised by COVID-19, mass unemployment, police violence and systemic racism demand bold new approaches to politics and governing. They’ll discuss their ideas with John Nichols. Session open to Cap Times members only, who will have a chance to ask questions of the group. Click here for information about Cap Times membership.
