DuPlanty opened Young Blood Beer Co. in the spring of 2020 with the help of partners Tom Dufek and Kyle Gregorash. Prior to that, he worked his way up from merchandiser to sales with two distribution companies in Milwaukee before making the jump to the supply side with a company called Craft Beer Partners, which he eventually owned.
