Vanessa McDowell

McDowell is the first black woman CEO of YWCA Madison and member of the State Advisory Council on Equity and Inclusion. Prior to joining the YWCA, the Madison native worked for UW-Madison’s Wisconsin Equity and Inclusion Laboratory and served in a leadership role at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
