Kaplan took the reins at UW Health in 2016. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a fellow of the American Association of Physician Leadership, where he has served as chairman of the board. He previously served as executive vice president and chief clinical transformation officer for UnityPoint Health.
