Rebecca Blank

Blank became chancellor of Wisconsin’s flagship university in 2013, bringing with her a deep commitment to educational excellence and innovation. She is an internationally respected economist who has twice served as the acting secretary of the U.S. Commerce Department. A native Midwesterner, Blank has a doctoral degree in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
