Lasagna is responsible for strategic grant-making to support Ascendium’s postsecondary education in prison focus area, which seeks to promote effective strategies to ensure that incarcerated learners can access and succeed in postsecondary education. Prior to joining Ascendium, Lasagna was executive director of the Tennessee Higher Education Initiative, a nonprofit that brings degree-bearing college programs to Tennessee prisons.
