As president of the foundation, Cheeks leads efforts to strengthen public education through philanthropy, advocacy, and community partnerships. A longtime civic leader and champion for Madison’s public schools, he has more than two decades of experience at the intersection of public service, community engagement, and the technology sector. From 2013 to 2019 he represented west side District 10 on Madison’s City Council.
