Jones is a hybrid infectious disease epidemiologist/social epidemiologist. Her work at the Applied Population Laboratory focuses on how geography affects our health, especially spatial clustering of infectious disease and vaccines. Jones is also the editor-in-chief at Dear Pandemic, a public-facing science communication project.
