Kristi Oshiro

Assistant Professor, Belmont University

Oshiro is an assistant professor of Sport Administration at Belmont University. She earned a Ph.D. in kinesiology from Texas A&M University, an M.S. in kinesiology and a B.S. in sport studies from East Carolina University, where she was a student-athlete. Oshiro’s research interests include diversity, inclusion and social justice in sport with a focus on the intersection of race and gender, as well as sports marketing and the utility of new media in sports spaces.
