Judy Woodruff

PBS NewsHour, Senior Correspondent, Former Anchor & Managing Editor of PBS NewsHour

Woodruff covered politics and other news for nearly five decades at NBC, CNN and PBS. In 2013, Woodruff and the late Gwen Ifill were named the first two women to co-anchor a national news broadcast: the PBS NewsHour. After Ifill’s death, Woodruff became sole anchor and held that post until she stepped down this past winter. She is currently undertaking a reporting project, “America at a Crossroads” for PBS, to better understand the country’s political divide.
