John and his wife, Nettie, are the owners of Rosenholm Dairy, a 600 cow dairy farm south of Eau Claire. They employ 20 people including 12 from Mexico. Rosenow has a degree in Farm Management and helped create Puentes/Bridges, a nonprofit that takes American farmers to Mexico to learn about Mexican culture.
