Young has been managing director of American Players Theatre since 2022. Before that, she served as APT’s director of communication for 18 years. She has a bachelor’s degree in theater from the University of Northern Iowa and began her career as a stage manager in Chicago, Milwaukee and Madison before moving into theater administration.
