Zimmermann is an assistant professor of philosophy and an affiliate professor of statistics at UW-Madison, where they also co-lead the Uncertainty & AI group, an interdisciplinary research team that studies artificial intelligence with social science and humanities tools. Zimmerman’s first book, “Democratizing AI,” is forthcoming this year.
