Alondra Nelson

Professor at the Institute for Advanced Study
Nelson’s academic background is in the study of race and technology, and she recently served as acting director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, where she led the development of the “Blueprint for an AI Bill of Rights.” Nature magazine named her to its global list of Ten People Who Shaped Science in 2022, and she was on the Time 100 list of the most influential people in AI in 2023.
