Gerhart is a family medicine physician and a faculty member at UW-Madison as well as a clinical informaticist at Epic. At Epic she focuses on health care innovation such as the use of ambient voice for documentation and the use of EHR data to advance the knowledge of medicine and patient-centered care. Gerhart is the lead clinical researcher for Epic Research.
